Jamie Beck's incredible photography. Her instagram feed is so, so gorgeous. My favorites are the shots that look like they could be paintings by old Renaissance masters! And her self portraits are truly something to behold.
I'm not sure where this phrase originated (I've heard it in a few places), but it's a gem: "Stop should-ing all over yourself!" I'm working on being intentional about language and the word "should" is up first. It's a doozy. I tell myself a lot of things that involve the word "should" -- "I SHOULD work out... I SHOULD go to bed earlier..." I don't know about you, but that doesn't motivate me. It just makes me feel bad! I'm experimenting with replacing "should" everywhere I can. For example, "I want to work out!" Or just, "I'm going to work out!" Doesn't that feel better?
Rescue Remedy. Do you know about this? It's basically a little homeopathic candy for stress relief. It tastes good and it's ever-so-slightly relaxing without being sedating. I particularly like it for high-stress situations when I still want to feel alert. My favorite flavor is "black currant" and I always buy multiple packs at a time!
I am a deeply committed fan of Friends. It never gets old for me! I re-watch old episodes and laugh every time. Here's one of my all-time favorite scenes (A+ physical comedy)!
