BEAUTY

After the amazing total lunar eclipse this week, I’m especially digging celestially-inspired art. Here are a few that I love from an artist I found on Instagram. (She also has an Etsy shop.)

IDEA

Here’s a thought for the weekend: don’t postpone the fun! This comes from one of Cass McCrory’s “Subtraction Projects” which are so good and supportive.

Here's the thing.
We save the best for last way way way too much.
And we never get to it.
EVER.
Because we have to do dishes. And laundry. And clean the house. And send email.
And to this I say: NOT THIS WEEKEND.
NOT THIS WEEKEND.
With triumph. I declare that none of us. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF US will postpone the fun. DO NOT under any circumstance save the best for last.
DO THE BEST THING RIGHT NOW.
Tonight.
Tomorrow.
All day Sunday.
You might be thinking: I can not.
And I have to challenge you.
Because we can.
Best thing first.
It's a revolution!

What’s your “best thing first”? Next up, I’m going to meditate and go for a walk outside. Because those things do me so much good, and they don’t need to wait. Enjoy!

THE GOODS

Sticking with the lunar theme, have you heard of Ezzie Spencer? She’s a former lawyer turned author/expert on leveraging the different cycles of the moon! Her beautiful book is available for pre-order in the U.S. now. (I already have the Australian edition and it is gorgeous, interesting, and so fun to put into practice.) She also has a bunch of free resources on her website to help explain what the heck all of this means. :) Happy exploring!

DELIGHT

Didn't January feel sooo long? The internet seemed to notice, too:
